Each house in astrology is a tool that can explain how we materialize our lives, which can be internal or external. Materialize means something real. Something that can be seen by others.
Each house shows us how we will develop. It tells us who we were as children before conditioning. It also shows us how we handle conditioning and use it to reform ourselves.
When we use astrology as a tool to assess our life, it’s better to check the transits in each house. Transits are the placement of the planets in one’s chart at a specific time frame. Remember houses can be fluid and flow into each other. And some houses can have two signs in it at a time. Check to see where the planets are transiting to get a better idea of how the transits will affect you.
It’s important to note that each house depends on the other house to function and make sense in some way. Its best the read the entire story, but before you can do that you must understand each section. Hence, the houses.
The Fourth House
Home | Foundation | Comfort | Family
The Original House of Cancer.
This house is the home we were born into. This is also the home we create because of the what was inherited as a child. Inheritance can be material or psychological. We can inherit property, trauma, or values.
Because Cancer is the ruler of The Fourth House, we can expect The Fourth House to reflect the way we care for our needs and our relationship with our mother. Our mother ideally is the energy responsible for caring, nurturing, creating core values, and providing an inheritance that will carry on the legacy. An afflicted fourth house will not be as favorable as one that is not, thus meaning that one will have to undo child hood traumas and transform their home into something more secure.
The Fourth House can also reveal ancestral trauma that has been past down through generations. Once you know this, you can make a conscious effort to break family cycles that are not auspicious. On the other hand, it can reveal ancestral wealth and gifts past down through generations as well. The Fourth House is our sanctuary and what we consider home and family to be.
Here’s what the fourth house represents:
· Family inheritance
A quality, characteristic, or gift that is given through generations….
· Home
A place that you can be your true self …
· Property
Places or things that belong to you…
· Care & Nurture
